Workmanship Warranty (5 Years)
Our workmanship warranty covers defects in installation, including:
- Posts that lean or shift due to improper installation
- Pickets or panels that come loose
- Gates that fail to operate properly
- Hardware failures related to installation
- Rails that separate from posts
- Concrete footing failures
Material Warranties
Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer and vary by product:
- Cedar Wood: Natural product, no manufacturer warranty. Properly maintained cedar lasts 15-20+ years.
- Trex Composite: 25-year limited warranty from Trex Company.
- Vinyl: Lifetime limited warranty from most manufacturers.
- Aluminum: Lifetime limited warranty on most residential grades.
- Iron/Steel: Varies by manufacturer and coating. Typically 5-20 years.
- Gate Operators: 2-5 year manufacturer warranty depending on brand and model.
What's Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by:
- Acts of nature (storms, flooding, lightning, tornadoes)
- Vehicle or equipment impact
- Vandalism or intentional damage
- Modifications by others
- Normal wear and weathering
- Lack of proper maintenance
- Ground movement or soil conditions
- Pet or animal damage
